GOUTTE (2009)
The artwork placed at the entrance allows one to take in the entire surrounding space at a glance: the slightly pinkish pearl suspended in the doorway captures everything around it.
Soleils (2023)
The series "3 or 4 Suns" (2023) represents different states of the star throughout the day. It highlights the importance of light in the artist’s work. Sometimes sparkling, almost fluorescent, sometimes discreet, the layered tulles (sometimes up to eight or ten layers) become temporal markers where chromatic variations measure the passage of time. Lionel Estève cuts and sews them to produce circles and create an illusion of depth.
Embroidered Stones (2013)
These are stones caught in a network made of fluorescent fishing line. This embroidery draws a multitude of small stars that recall a reflection or the glitter of a somewhat strange and unknown mineral.
Papier de Provence (2016)
Flowers occupy a prominent place in Lionel Estève’s work, who says he is interested "as much in their color as in their structure." He finds in flowers the balance between color and volume that is central to his concerns as a sculptor. In "Papier de Provence," he assembles real bouquets of plants that he covers with watercolor. The vividness of the colors recalls their infinite intensity in the natural world.

Jolie Pluie (2023)
The installation consists of numerous drops of painted steel wire, randomly scattered on the walls. The colors of the drops act like a light prism and recreate the vibration of a rainbow.
The Beauty of a Scar (2012)
Like a membrane, the horizontally hand-drawn line delineates the space of an imaginary river. The coloring of the stones, an indicator of time passed, follows the flood line. These rock sculptures, marked by the memory of water, capture and contain the passage of time.
