At the turn of the 1980’s, men embodied elegance in a hybrid way. Still attached to formal attire while dreaming of adventure, their style reflected a changing world. A war correspondent dancing at the palace, a corporate executive passionate about motorcycles, an intellectual at a local bar, an artist, a documentarian and collector... The Fursac man thrives in his era, where the need for renewal harmonizes with a longing for escape. His layered silhouette adapts to every occasion, designed for a lifestyle that evolves along the rhythm of the day. A spread-collar shirt, a relaxed tie, flared jeans, an evening coat, worn boots, and traces of grease compose the look of the fallwinter 2025 collection. The functional jacket is easily removed at the office to reveal a shirt with a refined collar. Cuts are tailored, sleeves are rolled up, and pockets multiply, offering freedom of movement supporting a lifestyle. An instinctive winter wardrobe, conceived as a modular uniform and enriched with versatile pieces, that accompanies men from early morning to late night.
The Fall-Winter 2025 collection is built around the garment whether adapted to daily life, work, sports, or celebrations. The color palette draws inspiration from the emblematic harmonies of early 20th-century interior designers, with burgundy standing out as a subtle symbol of a very French elegance. Overcoats are tailored to reveal Fursac’s signature high-waisted trousers, enhancing mobility for motorcyclists. The camel duffle coat, inspired by a british military shape, is reinterpreted by Gauthier Borsarello in a cropped version. Wide or flared trousers, paired with western belts, complement both camargue boots and formal shoes. Matching underpants and shirts elongate the silhouette. Ties play with proportions, while tweed shirts and jackets pair with turtleneck jumpers or thick shearling coats. Pins and badges adorn knitwear, lapels, and bags, as silent - yet powerful - cultural statements. The camouflage patterns designed by Gauthier Borsarello this season reference European prints adopted by various French subcultures in the late 1970s. The black faux-fur coat, a standout piece for elegant evenings, establishes itself as an essential for a more glamorous menswear, alongside the playful tuxedos Fursac revisits each season. Blending the modern adventurer and the cheeky Parisian, the Fall-Winter 2025 collection celebrates an energetic men’s wardrobe filled with cultural references— signatures of a house deeply rooted in the zeitgeist.
